A quick video on how to fix the chain routing on a Kent Trouvaille. Hello, I over the past two weeks I purchased two Kent Trouvaille Bikes from Walmart.com. The first bike had an issue. Both screws to hold the water bottle holder were stripped, they spun in the frame and could not be removed. It's a very nice bike and a great deal so I returned the bike and reordered the same model. started with a stock trouvaille I bought at walmart for 400. I rode that for a year and a half or so in stock form. The only thing i had done at that point was different pedals. Today I more or less finished a project I started sometime around last oct. I got Ltwoo R5 gravel components from Aliexpress.The Kent Trouvaille and Ozark Trail (also from Kent) have better geometry and 1x drivetrains (with bad rear derailleurs, but that is a cheap fix/upgrade). They also have pretty good tires. The Schwinn Axum has good geometry, a clutch-like rear derailleur (but probably not good enough to keep for real riding longer term), and there is a version ...2 biggest differences I think are the internal dropper post routing and the lack of a kick stand. Ozark has two water bottle cage bosses, braze-ons in the back for a rack for hauling groceries or bikepacking. Seth from Berm Peak covered this, and Wolftick found one live at a Walmart during a video last fall. Here is a different shorter video on fixing this and proof it was an issue.
